Good evening, and welcome to ChatShow. It is Wednesday the 4th of November, twenty twenty-six, in the middle of the night, so thank you for staying up with us. I'm Denzai, your moderator, and tonight's show is about the Netherlands. Our question: should the municipality of Groningen, facing a rising share of residents over 80 by 2035, fund home-based care in their own neighbourhoods rather than expanding nursing home beds, and how much of the budget should shift? We have fifteen minutes, with Claudette, Gemmy and Milan on the panel. Claudette, you go first. Start with the practical picture: how fast is Groningen's over-80 population growing, what care exists now under the Wmo and the long-term care law, and who actually pays for what?
